Background:

INSPIRATION:
This skill set was in my family line (mother's side). My grandfather was a carver and a painter for the works department in the colonial era. My uncles and older cousins have been doing screen printing while I was growing up, and I have always been good at drawing etc. since I was a kid. The arts was something that I think I was born to do. A few people that inspire me are my family, my high school teacher, and my UPNG Arts school lecturers and tutors. And most of all my Mystical Sepik River with its mystical beings, legends and art works have inspired me tremendously.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2012: Bachelor of Arts (Arts & Design) University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG)

2006: Diploma in Teaching (Primary) Divine Word University (DWU)

2012-2019:  I worked as a graphic designer for DWU 

I am currently a senior tutor in the DWU Faculty of Education at St Benedict’s Campus Wewak. Tutoring in the Humanities department, teaching Expressive Arts and Social Science.

I also have a small SME that does screen printing business called Bikpla Pukpuk designs which mainly focusses on manual silk- screen printing of T-shirts and other works like sign boards, banners and other merchandize and graphic works.

Apart from that, I am also doing fine arts work and mural painting as a pass time and community service to promotes arts and beautification
