Creative Hub Papua New Guinea

ABOUT:
Creative Hub Papua New Guinea is a virtual space for the creative artists in Papua New Guinea. Currently, we are working with the visual artist in PNG to host their portfolios and showcase their creative works here for any art follower, buyer, recruiters or other international collaborators could access. As we progress, we would expand to accommodate other creative artists, including the performing artists (music and theatre arts domains).

The establishment of Creative Hub PNG was an initiative by ArTech, with support from the National Cultural Commission, the University of Papua New Guinea, and all the contributing visual artists in PNG.

OBJECTIVES:
The objective of establishing this platform was to:
- Promote
- Market
- Showcase the skills/ talents/ works of local visual artists to the anyone interested in visual arts and to connect our local artists with the artists around the world.
- Empower visual artists through mentorship, workshops, training programs and art collaborations that may contribute to enabling professional and ethical practice in visual arts within PNG.

ISSUES WE PROMOTE:
- Gender Equality: Includes all gender
- Disability: Artists living with any forms of disability
- Social Inclusion: The inclusion of every artists and their interaction or engagement with communities around them.

STATISTICS/ REPORT:
- REPORT: Brief Report highlighting some of the findings from a "Graphics/ Digital Media" practitioners' survey related to the establishment of this platform. 

TO JOIN:
Currently, visual artists are invited to join. As long as you are a PNG visual artist (Fine Art, Graphics/ Digital Media, Illustrations, Photography, Sculpture, Fashion/ Textiles/Screen Printing, Multimedia, Animation/Motion Graphics, or related visual arts field), you can join this platform.

To Join, submit your work, through the:  
- ONLINE FORM (ensure you have 10 works ready).
- OFFLINE FORM (Use either Ms. Word or PDF to complete your bio information then email it to us using the addresses: pngcreativehub@gmail.com or admin@creativehubpng.com

Note: Not all the works will be put up online as some of them may be excluded if they don't meet the requirements (see requirements below).

REQUIREMENTS:
Before you submit, ensure that:
- You submit no less than 10 works
- Works submitted are yours and you have total rights to share them
- Works submitted should have a title and numbered accordingly from 1-10
- Works are of acceptable standard
- The works submitted are your best pieces or at least..
- When using samples of works for existing client(s), ensure permission is granted from the client to use them on your profile
