Background:
INSPIRATION:
I was aspired by local artist back home in my primary schools days. Looking at their art work mostly comic illustrations, line or motif designs and paintings. I never stopped drawing and painting. I like doing realistic art and that is were I get all my ideas from.
But later I was inspired by realistic art and that's how i got into doing naturalistic art
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
I graduated with a Diploma in Graphic Design at Creative Arts Faculty, University of Papua New Guinea in 1995 and the following year (1996) completed Diploma in teaching Art at University of Goroko.
I started teaching Visual Art at Malala Secondary School in 1997 until 1998. I moved to Madang Technical Collage to teach Painting and Signwriting in 1999 and taught there for two years.
In 2002, I left for Port Modesty to join the International Education Agency (IEA) and was teaching Art and Design at Port Moresby International School until 2017.
In 2018, I moved to Ela Murray International School to teach at primary level for two years. I resigned in 2019.
During my time teaching, I did commissioned work and also took part in Luksave Art exhibitions.
I am currently a freelance artist doing commission work and residing temporally in Tabubil Western Province.
AWARDS:
In 1995, I was Awarded the Best Student Graphic Designer in student category and the Best Student in Life Drawing.
