Background:

INSPIRATION:
My inspirations came from my late father Godfrey Misale who was a student of the former National Arts School, now the Creative Arts Strand at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG).

BRIEF BACKGROUND:
I am from Sandaun (formerly West Sepik) of Papua New Guinea and currently reside in East New Britain province.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND EMPLOYMENT:
Drawing has been my passion since childhood. I never received any formal or college education in art studies, except for grade 12 visual arts studies. Before that, I taught myself basic drawing and painting at a young age by observing my father, who did painting, graphic illustrations, and screen printing. I've never been to any exhibitions ever since.

My first ever exposure was in the month of August this year (2021) at the East New Britain Artisans Market, where three of my paintings were sold. Currently, I'm painting as a passion besides my full time job.
